River Creek's Shadow Figure Legend
River Creek's Shadow Figure Legend

The Shadow Figure
The shadow figure has been seen and described thousands of times in the past couple of decades. Some people have described the shadow figure in many different ways. Some people have said it acts differently, looks differently, and sometimes can be either aggressive or passive, but there are many similarities and differences in how it has been described.

Consistent
Some of the similarities that have been talked about are some of the most common traits and descriptions of the local legend. Some of those similarity include:
-
All black
-
Tall
-
intimidating
-
Hard to find
-
transparent
The list of similarities may seem slim, but that just shows how dangerous a shadow figure is. Since there aren't a whole lot of common descriptions of how it looks or acts.
Differences
There aren't a lot of descriptions of the shadow figure that gives the exact same image. Some of them range from being friendly, or absolutely dangerous. Here are some that have been said:
-
Passive
-
Aggressive
-
Wore clothing
-
Skull faced
-
kind
-
manipulative
-
chaotic
-
Copied appearance
The amount of different things that could be true is frightening, to say the least. Things to keep in mind if you dare go looking for it. Never assume and always be on the look out for any signs of it being there.
How it might look
These creatures look very human-like; however, don't let that fool you. They can either be exactly like the name suggests and be see-through (just like a shadow), or be a solid shape. Either way, they are always seen in the woods. They might have features such as hair, nails, mouths, etc. But not all of them will have that; some have seen them with masks or, as some said, "Fake faces" as their messed-up way to scare or blend in. Be aware of these creatures and make sure they don't trick you into thinking they are your friend.
